Videum™ AV (PCI) - the AV stands for Audio and Video - has all the same capabilities as our Videum AV (ISA), but now features 640x480 video capture, better video quality and better CPU utilization. We believe it is the best all-round video capture board on the market. More than anything else, its audio capabilities (full-duplex, guaranteed synchronized with video capture) separate the Videum AV boards from its competitors - most competitors don't provide any audio, leaving you to use your PC's sound card, which wasn't designed for demanding audio and video applications like video conferencing, movie capture, and streaming video. We recommend the AV (PCI) for all applications, especially for streaming video, which is very CPU-intensive.
